TITLE: Sr. Cybersecurity Engineer

OVERVIEW
As a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer you will be a key player in developing, implementing, and maintaining the cybersecurity program. You will assist in leading a team of cybersecurity professionals and work closely with other departments to ensure the security of our systems, networks, and data.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
- Lead the design and implementation of robust security architecture and solutions for the organization, including firewalls, security information and event management system (SIEM), and encryption technologies
- Perform advanced security assessments, vulnerability management, and penetration testing to identify and remediate complex security vulnerabilities
- Lead the development of incident response plans, coordinate incident response efforts, and guide post-incident analysis to enhance future prevention
- Play a key role in developing and maintaining cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures to align with industry regulations and best practices
- Stay up-to-date with emerging threats and provide advanced threat analysis to proactively address potential security risks
- Ensure compliance with industry and regulatory standards (GDPR, NIST) and take a lead role in preparing for and responding to audits
- Develop and deliver advanced cybersecurity training programs for employees, ensuring they are well-informed about the latest threats and security best practices
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of security configurations, incidents, and actions taken, as well as provide in-depth security reports to management
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity with a specialization in network security, operating systems, and security technologies
- In-depth knowledge of security technologies, threat landscape, and risk management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on innovation and improvement
- Experience utilizing and managing Firewalls (Palo Alto preferred)
- Experience with Industry Standard Security Information Management Systems (Exabeam, Splunk, Sumo Logic, etc.)
- Experience with Endpoint protection solutions such as (CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, Cylance) to perform protection, mitigation and forensic analysis
- Proficiency in Python and/or Power Shell
- Strong understanding of compliance requirements and regulatory standards
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, compTIA Security+ or equivalent are highly desirable
