OVERVIEW
We are seeking an experienced RPA Engineer to lead the design, development, and optimization of robotic process automation (RPA) initiatives across the organization. This role will be instrumental in evaluating existing automation processes, ensuring architectural consistency, and delivering high-quality solutions using the UiPath platform. You’ll collaborate with internal teams and external partners to improve automation outcomes, modernize legacy workflows, and advance our digital transformation efforts.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze and re-engineer existing RPA processes developed by third-party vendors for compatibility and efficiency within the UiPath ecosystem.
- Monitor and respond to RPA events and incidents—whether vendor-built or internally developed.
- Act as the primary liaison with external vendors who have developed or will develop RPA solutions for business stakeholders.
- Evaluate technical problems of diverse scope, utilizing data analysis and sound judgment to propose scalable solutions.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in RPA architecture and implementation best practices.
- Design and implement improvements to existing RPA systems, software infrastructure, and development lifecycle processes.
- Collaborate in the selection and evaluation of RPA tools and technologies.
- Present technical solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders to gain alignment and approval.
- Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks, roadblocks, and integration challenges.
- Conduct trade-off studies and system performance evaluations to guide architectural decisions.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience with UiPath or similar RPA platforms (e.g., Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere).
- Strong ability to translate complex business workflows into scalable and maintainable RPA solutions.
- Professional communication skills and experience working with third-party vendors or consulting partners.
- Proficient in designing and developing attended and unattended bots.
- Solid understanding of RPA components: Orchestrator, Studio, and Robots.
- Familiarity with exception handling, logging mechanisms, and RPA governance frameworks.
- Ability to write clean, efficient code/scripts and use selectors, activities, and reusable components effectively.
- Basic knowledge of APIs, SQL, and enterprise systems integration.
- Strong problem-solving skills and experience debugging RPA solutions in production environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
