TITLE: Sr. Network Engineer Administrator
LOCATION: Remote, but needs to be able to travel to Arizona as needed.

OVERVIEW

Practical experience related to LAN, WAN, WLAN, VLAN, VPN, MPLS and high availability/multipath/redundant routers, switches, and firewalls in large Service Provider network.

Design and implement networking technology delivery systems that are secure and reliable including disaster recovery architecture, operations and highly available server and network architectures.

Support network protocols such as: BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, HSRP, VLAN, TCP/IP, MPLS, STP, IPv4, subnetting, routing and switching.

Comprehensive knowledge of L2-L7 technologies-VLANs/VLAN tagging, VTP, Spanning Tree, EtherChannel, and Port Channel.

Understanding of networking concepts and Windows Server Operating Systems

Participate in the design and implementation of new technologies to support the Windows server and workstation environments.

Set up and configuration of new computers, including the installation of application software.

Hands-on experience with Virtualization technologies, VMware ESXi, vSphere, vSAN, vCenter.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
-
Experience implementing monitoring solutions such as LibreNMS, Cacti, WeatherMap and Zabbix. Experience with SNMPv1-3 monitoring and management tools.

Experience with network configuration automation (Scripting with Perl/Python/Bash).

Experience, building and deploying Linux servers and applications for authentication, DNS, and monitoring. Such as FreeRadius, Bind and other service provider applications.

Ability to manage and prioritize tasks to ensure optimum productivity and complete assigned tasks within tasked schedules.

Stays current on the latest industry technologies, trends, and strategies; brings forward solutions and serves as a Trusted Expert.

Participate in on call rotation, normally once every 4 weeks for escalations.

Additional experience with Palo Alto Networks, Juniper, and Cisco, with certifications would be a significant bonus.

Experience level knowledge of IP networking, L2/L3 network protocols, LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, routing, SNMP, Radius.

Experience implementing, operating, and supporting Microsoft 365 tools at both user and admin levels.

Experience implementing and managing Microsoft SharePoint with an understanding of overall architecture, hierarchy, and administration.
