TITLE: Senior Network Engineer
LOCATION: Nashua, NH (hybrid)

OVERVIEW
As a Senior Network Engineer, you will be a critical part in the support of the network infrastructure. This position will leverage solid experience and best practices to ensure the daily operation of the environment. The Engineer will also contribute to the sustainability, reliability, and scalability of the overall ecosystem.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
- Infrastructure Management – Configure and maintain the network ecosystem including route, switch, firewall, SDWAN, Load Balancing and SSL.
- Performance Monitoring – Implement and continuously monitor and analyze network performance. Troubleshoot and resolve network issues promptly, as well as optimize network performance for maximum efficiency.
- Documentation – Develop and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and procedures. Work with ticketing and internal request systems to troubleshoot and implement change activities.
- Security – Implement and manage network security protocols and firewall rules to safeguard company data and resources while ensuring that the network infrastructure complies with industry regulations and standards.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- 3+ years of experience implementing, managing and testing data communication networks both on-premise and in cloud – Azure (preferred)
- 3+ years experience in supporting Routing, Switching, Firewall, Load balancing, and WiFi operations
- 2+ years scripting or coding experience with one or more languages related to Network Automation
- Solid skillset with firewall management and optimization – Palo Alto (preferred)
- Detail oriented, senior level problem investigation and diagnostic skills
- Manage and configure network monitoring platforms – New Relic (preferred)
- Able to appropriately communicate both verbally and in writing to accurately convey messages and influence others in a positive manner.
- Critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills is essential.
- Solid knowledge of networking hardware infrastructure and principles.
- Knowledge of Linux and/or Python or other Network automation languages.
- Ability to provide technical guidance in a collaborative manner.
- Strong documentation abilities
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology is preferred; the equivalent amount of relevant experience will be considered in lieu.
- CCNA+, JNCIA+ or related professional level certification preferred.
