OVERVIEW
The Endpoint Delivery Specialist is responsible for leading the deployment, configuration, and readiness of end-user devices across both Windows and macOS platforms. This role drives the technical planning and execution of endpoint deployment processes, including imaging, software installation, and patching. The Endpoint Delivery Specialist will collaborate closely with Access and Asset Management teams to ensure devices are delivered accurately, securely, and on schedule. The ideal candidate is highly organized, technically proficient, and experienced in managing endpoint delivery in a dynamic enterprise environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee imaging and provisioning of Windows and macOS devices using tools such as Intune, SCCM, and Jamf Pro.
- Manage the full endpoint delivery lifecycle including software deployment, patching, and user readiness.
- Collaborate with IT support, security, and asset management to ensure endpoint compliance with corporate standards.
- Monitor system vulnerabilities, assign remediation tasks, and work closely with global teams to track resolution.
- Maintain clear, up-to-date documentation including deployment runbooks, troubleshooting guides, and configuration standards.
- Support performance and configuration consistency across devices throughout their lifecycle.
- Provide Tier 3/4 support and act as a technical escalation point for complex provisioning issues.
- Contribute to hardware refresh strategies by tracking aging equipment and forecasting needs.
- Maintain deployment metrics and generate reports on throughput, failure rates, and user satisfaction.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- 3+ years of experience in endpoint deployment, end-user support, or desktop engineering in a mid-to-large enterprise environment.
- Expertise with Microsoft Intune, SCCM, and Jamf Pro.
- A deep understanding of OS deployment, image management, and software packaging.
- Hands-on experience with patching, vulnerability remediation, and endpoint security tooling.
- Knowledge of IT asset management and best practices for hardware lifecycle.
- Experience with enterprise ITSM tools such as ServiceNow.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and thrive under pressure.
- Understands the importance of building effective working relationships with users and stakeholders at all levels.
- Displays a proactive attitude, strong attention to detail, and an efficient, structured approach to work.
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to resolve complex technical issues effectively.
- A college degree is preferred, ideally in Computer Science, Information Systems,or relevant experience.
- Appropriate technical certification(s) are preferred, but not required (e.g., Microsoft, Jamf, CompTIA)
