TITLE: Strategic Account Advisor
LOCATION: Fully Remote

  • Support Sales as the expert for Infrastructure Modernization including Enterprise Orchestration, Workload Scheduling, Monitoring and JCL Tools.
  • Work with Field Marketing to develop help identify target prospects and industry events.
  • Collaborate with respective team on sales campaigns and sales plays
  • Utilize industry knowledge to position solutions for customer success
  • Actively use Salesforce and maintain weekly, monthly and quarterly track and manage results
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to sales when interacting with customers and partners
  • Demonstrate breadth and depth of knowledge in aligning the company’s capabilities to business and IT priorities and positioning relative to competitors.
  • Advocate for customer needs during sales cycle and in addressing any delivery issues
  • 5+ years of sales experience in Infrastructure Modernization which can include Enterprise Modernization, Workload Scheduling, Monitoring and/or JCL Tools
  • Partner with the Infrastructure Business Unit to understand and validate current market trends and ongoing client needs for the portfolio of products in the Americas
  • Collaborate with Regional Sales Directors and respective Senior Account Executives to execute sales plays for Enterprise Orchestration, qualify and progress opportunities through sales funnel stages
  • Work collectively with Product Marketing and Product Management to develop enablement and Go to Market plans for active investment products
  • Directly interact with customers and prospects promoting this suite of enterprise solutions
  • Work with Sales teams to migrate customers from competitors to our offerings
  • Stay abreast of trends and regulations to ensure effectiveness and compliance
  • Team with Marketing and Sales to represent us at Industry trade shows and events
  • Understanding of High Availability and Business Continuity offerings is a plus
  • Ability to uncover, seed, propose and sell professional services engagements
  • Experience in Enterprise Orchestration, Dev Ops, RPA or closely related areas
  • Strong Communications skills and ability to work as a team are very important
  • Channel partner experience is a plus
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science or related field
