TITLE: Sr IT Asset Analyst
LOCATION: Denver, CO
COMPENSATION: $40hr W2

OVERVIEW 
The Sr. Analyst, IT Assets and Procurement role is responsible for the continuous improvement process the asset management process, analyzing the and IT contract management. This includes but is not limited IT budget tracking, sourcing of all IT purchases, asset management of all IT equipment, reporting and analysis of delivery of all these IT services. Responsible for the evaluation, implementation, integration, of all these functions. This role has deliverables including process maps, policies and other written artifacts and will require management of various projects to complete them. This position requires a high level of collaboration with both IT staff and leadership and in some cases representatives from other business units and vendors. This role will be dotted lined to the Director, IT Infrastructure, Operations and Cloud.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT 

  • Assist with IT procurement process and PO preparation.
  • Participate in reoccurring budget reviews with Finance and IT.
  • Provide initial approval for all IT invoices, expenses, and assist AP with payment strategy according to strict spend guidelines.
  • Creates process, guidelines, revisions and other documentation artifacts for use by the IT organization for budget and asset tracking.
  • Monitor and oversee the Information Technology budget, look for cost savings, complete analysis on justified cost spend.
  • Responsible to ensure IT assets are recorded accurately in a CMDB or other record.
  • Participate in delivery of budgets, including a process to gather the information, track the spending against the budget, and mentoring of personnel as necessary.
  • Create Improvement processes for budgeting and purchasing process for IT and communicate this as appropriate to assure spend and planning are accurate.
  • Set goals to analyze and drive cost efficiencies for IT.
  • Architect and report on the installed base of configuration items including hardware, software, and other items that require tracking.
  • Ability to dive into technology spend as needed working directly with organization management, IT architects, and solution providers, project managers, and IT administration as needed.
  • Monitoring strategies of functional area and recommending / implementing adjustments.
  • Contributing in planning and implementing a broad range of activities to meet objectives.
  • Participating in development of programs that establish and enhance standards. 
  • Identifying and establishing relationships with internal/external partners.
  • Manage IT Contracts, approval process and tracking. Assist Legal and Finance Teams as needed.
  • Manage IT Capital Project spend and approval process.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED  
  • 4+ years in IT Asset Analysts Management.
  • 2 + years’ experience in financial analysis, financial/strategic planning, accounting, or budgeting.
  • ITIL Foundations or IAITAM certification is preferred.
  • Experience in Coupa is a plus
  • Cloud FinOps Practitioner is a plus 
  • Expert knowledge in Microsoft Office. Specifically, in areas of Excel, Work, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience managing IT assets in ITSM platforms like ServiceNow.
  • Advanced understanding of ITIL v4 IT Asset Management best practices and techniques.
  • Thorough knowledge of finance monitoring, general ledger, and accounts payable processes and procedures.
  • Experience with Strategic Sourcing and supply chain management.
  • Strong vendor management and communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of licensing agreements involving software like Microsoft, Cisco, and Oracle.
  • Strong Knowledge of working with a CMDB and the specific business services that it supports.
  • Experience with PowerBI is a plus. 
EDUCATION 
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, technical subject, or equivalent experience.
