If you love building and supporting information technology solutions that make businesses successful, then we have news for you: we’re seeking Sr. Directors Product Management – Advertising Technology (Associate Directors) who are ready to make an impact for one of our clients in Boston, MA. ***This role is remote to start, travel to Boston and East Coast hours are a requirement. Relo might be necessary in 6-12mos.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
  • Contribute to our client's Advertising Technology Product team to build the global engine for the world’s leading online home store that has over a billion consumers.
  • Be responsible for the planning, analytics, and execution platform that handles all advertising technology. This includes display, social, video, and in-app, as well as off-line channels such as linear TV and direct mail.
  • With solid ad/martech expertise from the buyside, sellside, agency or vendor space, the the Sr. Director / Associate Director will not only lead strategy and execution for our platform roadmap, but will serve as the adtech expert. 
  • You should have extensive experience with key product management techniques, mentoring teams, and partnering with Marketing, Engineering, and Data Science.
  • Own product development and roadmaps for the platform that drives overall campaign management for all of of our client's ad channels beyond paid search.
  • Partner with Marketing stakeholders to deeply understand their businesses and co-develop potential solutions to supercharge growth, improve marketing efficiency, and increase automation.
  • Use Agile processes to collaborate with Engineering and Data Science to execute on the roadmap while harnessing the power of emerging technologies.
  • Recruit, lead, and mentor a team of product managers, as well as encourage a high-performance culture.
  • Create frameworks for build/buy decisions and manage vendor selection and relationships.
  • Develop and monitor OKRs for key product initiatives and ensure alignment with stakeholder objectives.
  • Work with leadership to improve product craft and processes throughout the extended Ad Technology and Customer Intelligence team.
     
TO BE SUCCESSFUL, YOU SHOULD HAVE: 
  • 3+ years building adtech or martech products with focus on one or more of the following: programmatic, display, video, mobile app/web, and paid social ads. Exposure to offline channels such as direct mail and linear TV a plus.
  • Builder mentality — you think in terms of customer problems and technology solutions, and have demonstrated success in creating business-focused products.
  • 10+ years in B2B product management with exposure to the full lifecycle from concept to launch and beyond. Experience in commercial software/SaaS or e-commerce companies a plus.
  • 3+ years leading product teams.
  • Sufficient technical literacy to both understand the underpinnings of products to make key decisions as well as effectively communicate with engineers and data scientists.
  • Knowledge of the adtech/martech vendor space, key players, and how ads flow through the ecosystem of three-letter acronyms.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills at the senior leadership level.
  • Positive, people-oriented, and energetic attitude.
  • A “no excuses” mentality that pushes through issues with creative solutions and tenacity, while maintaining a grace-under-pressure demeanor.
