TITLE:  Lead UX Designer
LOCATION: Remote / Denver, CO
COMPENSATION: $145,000 to $165,000

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT-

  • Join a growing Product Team and lead the UX Design discipline.
  • Spend time talking to customers and internal stakeholders. Understand their problems and validate that solutions solve a real problem.
  • Plan, conduct, synthesize and communicate research findings to internal teams and our customers.
  • Produce clear and impactful artifacts that surface the most meaningful stories from the research findings.
  • Work through design problems from beginning to end: translating research insights into ideas that form disruptive new products and features, then designing the workflows and detailed interactions to realize them.
  • Sketch and prototype ideas to quickly assess viability.
  • Build wireframes and workflows where appropriate.
  • Manage and mentor a junior UX Designer. Grow the team over time.
  • Work with Product Managers to prioritize new work.
  • Work closely with engineers as they build and ship ideas.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
  • 5 to 8 years as a practitioner in UX Design in an agile / lean environment.
  • Strong organization, prioritization, and management skills.
  • Excellent communicator of design work and your rationale behind proposals.
  • Proven track record for shipping major products and features for SaaS.
  • Design experience with Responsive web, native iOS and Android.
  • An appreciation of the entire product development process, from problem solving through to detailed UI and visual design.
  • You are resilient and can synthesize multiple perspectives when designing.
  • Excellent self-starter who can deeply collaborate with Product and engineers.
  • The ability to move comfortably from wireframes to high-fidelity mockups when needed.
  • A deep understanding of the UX process with a portfolio represented as such.
  • Knowledge of the Material UI Framework. Experience crafting and maintaining a design system.
  • Experience with Figma required.
  • Proficiency with HTML and CSS a plus.
