TITLE: Lead Data Developer
LOCATION: Onsite in Denver, CO – Flex schedule with remote as needed (2-3 days a week) & paid parking
COMPENSATION: for CO & NY based roles only include hourly rate range

OVERVIEW 
As a Lead Data Developer, you will be part of an integrated project team to manage sensitive financial and investment data for analytical assessments. Working within a Microsoft infrastructure, this role will work with SQL and Python to query and manipulate the data, and export into Excel, reports and a data warehouse for analysis. This role will lead team members in day-to day activities, further expand on existing processes, create new solutions, and help analyze the data. 

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED  

  • Minimum of 5 years of data development and analysis experience, working with a data warehouse
  • Lead experience, assigning tasks and creating new ETL and analysis solutions
  • 2+ years SQL programming, with advanced experience that includes:
    • Common Table Expressions
    • Temporary Functions
    • Pivoting data
    • SQL Joins
  • Python experience used to manipulate and analyze data
  • Advanced Excel skills working with Pivot Tables, vLookups, formulas, and macros
  • Experience working with Azure Data Factory, or PowerBI is a plus 
  • Financial or investment data experience is highly preferred
  • Experience producing varied written documentation products
  • Exceptional communication skills with emphasis on effectively communicating detailed analysis and recommendations
  • Experience working in collaborative sessions, while demonstrating strong verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite – Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred
