Is your idea of the “big picture” more of a massive billboard than a framed 8 x 10 photo? We’re seeking a Business Analyst – MDM who is ready to take control of large-scale programs and applications for one of our clients.  This is a fully remote opportunity.

The business analyst will be a key role in the implementation of Stibo STEP, an MDM vendor solution that will be used to implement a golden source client master. This is a phased implementation requiring partnership with vendor / implementation partner, CRM, Analytics and Core Cloud Platform team resources within IT as well as partnering with Distribution, Data Governance and Data Management functions in the business.


  • Analysis – leveraging your knowledge of master data management processes analyses business and system requirements to establish requirements for data flows, business process workflows and business rules
  • Relationship Management – build excellent working relationships with internal / external partners and key stakeholders
  • Design – using your knowledge of MDM solutions (preferably Stibo) design the required integrations, data models, data migration / loading, workflows and rules in the MDM tool optimized to the way that the tool works best with scalability / extensibility in mind
  • Delivery – working with implementation partners and business stakeholders implement and test these designs in the tool and surrounding systems
  • System Testing – prepare and executed test scripts for all components of the solution working closely with the QA engineers directing the project team on how to investigate and resolve these issues
  • Acceptance Testing – support business stakeholders conducting testing ensuring that issues raised are resolved and enhancement requests captured for prioritization
  • Implementation – support training, be part of the go live activities and ensure a smooth landing post implementation of the solution
  • Extensive proven experience in being the lead analyst delivering large scale / complex cross-functional initiatives
  • Experience specifically in the field of Master Data Management, integrating MD processes within enterprise data management and engaging with master data owners / stewards’ network as part of an MDM process
  • Demonstrated success building cross-functional networks in a geographically diverse and dispersed environment
  • Extensive experience being the lead analyst on IT deployment, configuration and integration projects involving MDM, working with distributed teams
  • Previous experience working with external execution partners and engaging with multiple client teams to fully understand current operations, challenges and barriers to change, capturing client requirements and turning these into specifications and solution options
  • Experience in building processes and appropriate training, competencies and measurements to ensure data quality and data governance
  • Knowledge of standard data migration approach, tools, roles & responsibilities
  • Strong analytical skills, well-organized, with attention to detail
  • A Business Analysis certification or successful completion of a recognized project management curriculum, e.g. BCS, PMI PBA
  • Good working knowledge of Salesforce
  • Experience with Assets Under Management solutions a distinct advantage
  • Experience in systems which integrate with a data lake following a hub and spoke model using API, messaging and batch ETL technologies
  • Experience in various project management concepts (agile, waterfall, PMP etc.) desirable
  • Experience working in a task-oriented environment
  • Experience working in a matrix managed environment
  • Self-starter, quick learner, collaborative and able to switch between tasks as required
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned.
