BridgeView IT is seeking a XenDesktop Engineer. This Role is located in Jersey City, NJ. It is a Perm opportunity.
Requirements
Project management experience
Windows compatible PCs Thin clients, and servers
Client OS: Windows XP/XPe/7, VDI, XenDesktop
Server OS: Windows 2003/2008 server OS, VMWare, XenApp, Xen Web Interface Server
Database server: Miscrosoft SQL, Access, IIS
Software: MS Office Suite, Outlook, BlackBerry, XenDestop Administration
BA in information systems or work equivalent
Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Windows operating systems.
A minimum of 2-4 years of experience is required
Responsibilities
Essential Functions with percent of time spent and importance rating 1,2,3 (1 is highest)
Perform level-2 & 3 end user support for Virtual Desktop Infrastructure VDI, Outlook standalone or LAN 40% - Ranking # 1
Perform system administration work for client/server and virtual systems (VDI, Exchange Outlook Mail, WYSE TC admin, Citrix, TSM, etc.) 30 % - Ranking # 1
Responsible for full accountability for assigned requests and projects, making sure requests/projects are successful from start to finish. Responsible for compliance related reporting as requested by CoDA - 15% - Ranking # 1
Establish and maintain procedures and tracking mechanisms such that desktop/LAN support systems operate efficiently; responsible for ensuring adequate documentation is maintained for both computer and LAN management systems. 10% Ranking # 1
Provide remote system support during non-business hours in emergency case 5 % - Ranking # 2
Overall purpose of job
Primary responsibility is to configure, maintain and provide advance troubleshooting for VDI Xendesktop (70% of bank users), PC Workstations and Local Area Network environment (LAN server OS and Exchange mail services) Utilize technical data expertise plan and implement projects to assist other departments.
