Requirements
Technical Skills
Moderate level of experience with query tools such as Toad
Moderate level of experience with reporting tools such as Crystal or RDL
Some experience with report development in OLAP tools, like Cognos, Business Objects or Microstrategy a plus
Demonstrate mature levels of Excel (using functions and macros, pivot tables) and Access (building queries and reports).
- Efficient using Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio
Job experience (number of years, type/level of previous experience)
Significant experience with Human Resources data and processes
Two to five years in a functional role concerned with reporting and reporting analysis
At least one years' experience with ERP HR/Payroll modules, Oracle HR preferred, as well as other HR modules such as Talent Management or Recruiting
At least 2 years' experience with project methodology and execution
Unless there is a legal requirement, experience will be accepted for the education requirement.
Description
Reporting to the HRMS Director, the Workforce Analytics and Global Reporting Manager in HRMS works with the HR leadership, with clients in the business units, and with other HRMS resources to define requirements and build reports and dashboards as required by client and business unit clients. The manager works as assigned to ensure that HRMS reporting activities are executed accurately, completely, and on time, coordinating with all necessary parties including business unit clients, vendors and IT.
The Workforce Analytics and Global Reporting Manager will define reports as needed and evaluate data to implement new reports as appropriate. The manager will configure dashboards for various audiences and provide clear, cogent explanations of the derivation of metrics and other analysis, includes tracking and analyzing human capital metrics relating to recruitment, turnover, performance, tenure, retirement, and other HR statistics. The manager works to ensure data integrity across reports across the organization, maintaining a reporting dictionary defining core measures on which reports are built. The Workforce Analytics and Global Reporting Manager must also understand the importance of protecting the clients data and act in accordance with that organizational priority.
Responsibility
1. Works with HR Clients, HR Senior Leaders and Business Partners to identify HR metrics and performance indicators to be measured
2. Develops and delivers HR metrics and reporting, including executive dashboards, quarterly scorecards, statistical analytics and transactional detail reports
3. Develops clear and easy to follow presentation of HR metrics, scorecard and dashboards. Delivers presentations to HR Clients, HR Senior Leaders and Business Partners
4. Prepares surveys for internal and external purposes
5. Leads and attends meetings when requested
Qualifications
a) Education - College degree preferred. MIS degree a plus.
b) Training requirements (licenses, programs or certificates)
c) Knowledge and skills (e.g. demonstrated ability to work under pressure, or possesses good written and oral communication skills)
Mature ability to analyze data and conceptualize reports and dashboards
Mature knowledge of HR metrics
Ability to think outside of received paradigms
Mature ability to assess customer needs and craft and deliver solutions
Very strong ability to absorb and evaluate information from a variety of sources and maintain a view of the "big picture" as well as the details of the HRMS systems and Wyndham business processes. Very strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to be comfortable with communicating with leadership
Flexibility in problem analysis and solution creation\generation
Strong interpersonal, organizational and customer service skills
Ability to manage own work on multiple projects\tasks concurrently
Ability to be proactive with regard to problem resolution
