BridgeView IT is seeking an experienced Windows/Network/Desktop Admin. Candidates must be willing to work across a variety of demands from crawling under desks for computer installs, to working on Windows servers.
Required Skills
3 years experience building, trouble-shooting, and repairing network servers and infrastructure components.
Extensive experience with Exchange, Microsoft SQL, Microsoft SharePoint, IIS and Contact Management systems; system management tools, switch administration, and network printers and scanners;
Experience providing training solutions, documentation and procedures for systems, and new staff orientation
confident command of Apple line of products and a variety of PDA operating systems
Independent work style with minimum direction, willing to work across a wide variety of demands from crawling under desks for equipment installations and coming in off hours; friendly,
BA/BS degree or equivalent and 7 10 years related experience.
Demonstrated ability to finish projects on time under tight deadlines and keep several jobs moving forward at the same time.
JOB OVERVIEW
The Network Specialist is responsible for planning, evaluating, coordinating and maintaining all IT systems, providing support to 70+ staff, and is the primary contact for systems assistance regarding a wide range of responsibilities. The position will also advise business units and individual staff members in the application of IT systems.
Supports the data network infrastructure, installs, moves, adds, changes and coordinates and leads all activities for installing, configuring, and maintaining systems availability based on a Microsoft Windows platform. Sets up and maintains presentation tools, personal information management devices, and remote access connections.
