We are currently seeking a Customer Support Specialist for a contract position with our client in north Denver.
Job Summary
Provides registration support for Account Managers, customers and internal departments to ensure a successful integration of customer data. This person will also provide internal and external reporting of customer performance.
Qualifications Required
- Bachelor’s degree or 2-4 years of prior business experience.
- Advanced Excel experience is required
- Knowledge of basic business/functional principles of healthcare industry supply chain ASP/Exchange practices preferred
- Prefer related work experience (EDI set up) in the healthcare industry supply chain, and business process and/or integration experience. Some familiarity with EDI or XML preferred
- Prefer experience in process documentation, process mapping and process flow design
- Prior working experience with datamarts and reporting tools preferred
- Familiarity with using applications with event and workflow notifications
- Hands-on technical integration experience preferred
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Strong interpersonal skills including good cross-functional communication skills to work with internal employees and clients at various levels
- Critical thinking skills
- Demonstrated ability to aggressively pursue goals and complete tasks at hand
- Demonstrated ability to identify, communicate and use resources to resolve issues with detail and quality orientation.
- Demonstrated ability to work as an integrated team within a matrix organization.

- Ability to speak up and look at process with critical eye aiming for improvements
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Facilitate the initial registration and ongoing activation of new partners. Leverage working relationships with clients, Account Managers and other internal teams to ensure the success of the trading partner connection in the most efficient method possible. This includes: coordination with other departments to ensure account number reconciliation, internal registration, item master reconciliation, configuration and testing are completed.
- Work directly with the customers to reconcile “Ship To” account numbers, facility names, addresses, etc.
- Ensure testing requirements are met
- Provide issue resolution during a new client go-live
- Ensure that internal testing and any configuration setups are coordinated and successfully completed by the appropriate groups responsible for the task
- Utilize the appropriate database and reporting tools to ensure that status of all related activities are up-to-date
- Provide support and resolution to Customer Relations, customer, and account manager in support situations that affect customer orders at go-live with each partner.
- Capability to analyze trading partner relationships and provide statistics/reports to management.
