BridgeView IT is seeking a Technical Project Manager. This role is located in South Brunswick, NJ. This is a 3 month contract role.
Skills and Requirements
· Excellent written and oral communication skills
· Ability to work closely with the business and turn business requirements into technical requirements
· Understands System-level software development for Linux and Windows Operating Systems.
· Understands database technologies, and application and system architectures.
· Experience and understanding of Web Technologies including XML, XHTML, DHTML, DOM, and Web Services
· Hands-on experience with a Software Development Life Cycle
· Proven ability with working across multiple groups and business lines to drive project schedules
· Ability to proactively identify risks and issues to a project and then recommend or implement solutions.
· Extensive experience in project management, risk management, change control management and resource management.
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business or Engineering is required
· 8+ years of experience in related field is required
Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for the technical management of many projects within our client’s Financial Services Web development team. He/she will be responsible for creating schedules, timelines, and project status reports for projects under assignment. The Project Manager will work closely with development teams, service management teams, testing teams, and business partners. This position will be a focal point of contact for the technical aspects of a project.
