BridgeView IT is seeking a System Engineer / NYC, NY – Contract
Our client is seeking a Systems Engineer for the conversion and consolidation of current server environment.
Required Skills:
• 5+ years experience building out and implementing HP Blade, HP DL360 and DL380 servers
• 5+ years experience Windows 2003/2008 and Exchange 2003/2007 administration
• 5+ years Active Directory 2003/2008 administration experience
• 3+ years experience with Citrix
• Knowledge and experience with Microsoft ISA Server is highly desired
• Knowledge and experience with VMware is a plus
• Knowledge and experience in a clustered environment is a plus
• Experience in brokerage, banking, financial environments is highly warranted
Overview of responsibilities:
• Primarily responsible for systems hardware implementation, server build outs, and Windows Server administration
• Responsible for installs, integration, maintenance, and support of new and existing Server environment.
• Responsible for monitoring and administration of appropriate systems to ensure systems and services availability and peak performance, and modifications to existing environments are effective and efficient
• Team member in providing 3rd Level Windows Server and Exchange support
• Additionally responsible for updating and maintaining documentation utilizing Visio
