BridgeView IT is seeking a System Architect. This role is located in South Brunswick, NJ. This is a 3 month contract role.
Skills and Requirements
A minimum 8 years of experience with a Bachelor degree in Computer Science is required. The candidate should be fluid in Information and System Architecture. Other key assets include:
· Experience with designing high performance (low latency) systems
· Experience in delivering Systems to an enterprise environment that requires standards for error handling, logging, storage, and networking.
· In-depth knowledge of communication protocols.
· In-depth understanding of XML, XHTML, DHTML, DOM, and Web Services.
· In-depth understanding of Relational databases and SQL
· Linux experience is required. Windows experience would be a plus.
· Proven experience in developing with a Software Development Life Cycle
· Excellent written and oral Communication Skills.
· Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements including architecture and design specifications.
· Ability to manage projects that require coordination across multiple internal groups.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing architectures that support the web-facing products of our client’s Financial Services Group. He/she will work closely with Enterprise architecture and application development teams to deliver a consistent architecture within our client’s product suite.
