Seeking a Supply Management Business Analyst. Denver, CO. Contract position.
BridgeView IT is seeking a Supply Management Business Analyst for our valued client in Denver, CO. The role of the Business Analyst is to liaise between the business and IT, in order to help craft a solution that will meet the functional needs of the business.
Required
o Proven experience with developing requirements for supply management related.
o Minimum five years business analyst experience including direct facilitation of completing business requirements, design, and test activities within large, complex applications (ideally JDE)
o Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of management and team members.
o Represent a rigorous customer service attitude.
o Ability to complete tasks on a timely basis with minimal supervision and to provide timely / accurate status to IT management.
o Experience with project-oriented environments and thorough understanding of typical project delivery methodologies.
o Exceptional critical thinking skills. Comprehensive thinker for issue analysis and resolution.
o Highly skilled in Microsoft productivity tools such as Powerpoint, Visio, Word, Excel and Project
Specific duties include:
o Identifies and scopes business opportunities
o Facilitate working sessions with the business, IT, and 3rd party solution vendor as appropriate to ensure collaboration and business needs are met throughout the project lifecycle
o Works with business counterparts to understand and document functional requirements. Facilitate the translation of business requirements into a supportive solution
o Experience in eliciting, driving, organizing and tracking requirements throughout the software development lifecycle
o Responsible for the creation and approval of the functional specification
o Develops, facilitates and signs off on system testing, and coordinates user acceptance testing
o Participates in the development and execution of training
o Transitions knowledge from the project team to the business and support organization
o Assist with identifying and communicating high-level technical constraints for the solution
o Participates in issue resolution, change control management, and risk mitigation activities.
