BridgeView IT is seeking a Supervising Perimeter Protection Specialist Secaucus, NJ Contract to Permanent
The project: Infrastructure support for Perimeter security technologies.
Technology: Checkpoint Nokia and SPLAT firewall environments, BlueCoat proxy appliances including Malware scanning and URL filtering environments, Network-based IBM Proventia IDS/IPS, TCP/IP protocol including packet analysis plus experience with Cisco routing and switching technologies
Required Skills:
- Five years experience with Checkpoint Nokia and SPLAT firewall environments, BlueCoat proxy Network-based IBM Proventia IDS/IPS appliances including Malware scanning and URL filtering environments, TCP/IP protocol including packet analysis,
- One to three years with Cisco routing and switching technologies
- Good experience with mentoring and guidance to more junior team members and ability to deputise for the team lead.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Exposure to Remedy IT Service Management Suite (preferred)
- Bachelors degree in a technical discipline plus CheckPoint CCSE, BlueCoat BCCPA. ITIL Foundation
- On Call and off-hours work required
