Sr. ColdFusion Developer w .Net exp. Denver, CO. Contract/Contract to Hire
BridgeView IT is currently seeking a Sr. ColdFusion Developer for a contract/contract-to-hire role. This role is located in Denver, CO. Candidate must be able to start within a week. Specifically, we are seeking an experienced ColdFusion Developer to help one of our clients enhance and upgrade an existing application that is written in an older version (v8) of Cold Fusion. Additionally, our client is looking to leverage/incorporate .Net functionality into the platform. They will be adding new features and functionality to this application. Additional skills include the ability to develop in .Net using C#, VB.NET, or ASP.NET.
Required Skills:
- 4+ yrs of experience of developing in Cold Fusion
- Exp w Fusebox Circuits
- Working with MVC pattern architecture
- Experience creating and editing SQL Stored Procedures
- 2+ yrs of general web development skills (HTML, JavaScript, etc)
- Experience working with ColdFusion Components (CFC)
- Any exp with Jquery, Agile/SCRUM, are preferred
In this role, the ColdFusion Developer will be working with existing code and add functionality and enhancements. We are seeking an individual that has worked with transactional based, web applications. Understanding of how to code and interpret business rules within the transactional code is needed. Our clients application is customer facing, and it is highly transactional. They are seeking individuals that know how to build scalable systems. The candidate in this role will be working with a small team, in a collaborative environment. Daily SCRUM meetings and an Agile development methodology are practiced by our client.
