We currently have an opening for a … Sr. C++ Fixed Income Developer-Front End
Premier Global Financial Service firm is seeking an experienced Developer to work with C/C++ to develop interfaces/feeds, maintain/enhance applications and scripts, extend/enhance trading screens for front-, middle-, and back-office. Must have experience with high-frequency, low-latency, multi-threading, FIX Protocol, databases with HTLI interfaces;
Candidates must have 7+ years of development experience with solid skills in C/C++ in financial services preferably within Fixed Income. The ideal candidate would have experience with ECN*s (eSpeed, Brokertec/ICap, etc.), ULLINK, Tulip, Bloomberg Toms, Market access, GovEx. will be an effective communicator with the ability to multi-task.
KEY ROLES & FUNCTIONS
Implement solutions based on project specifications and business requirements;
Manage and Support the primary trading fixed income platform of the firm;
Extending the capabilities of the product to potentially service other areas of the firm (risk, equities, etc.)
REQUIREMENTS
Strong C, C++, C# trading-system development;
Experience with ECNs, UULINK, Tulip, Bloomberg Toms, etc.
FIX Protocol and HTLI interfaces;
Knowledge of Socket Programming, High-Frequency, Low-Latency, Multi-threading systems;
Previous experience within Financial Services specifically within Fixed Income;
Java/J2EE would be a plus.
Proficient with SQL Server / Oracle
