Seeking Sr. Application Analyst in Denver, CO.  Contract to Hire.  Healthcare Applications Experience Required.
 
BridgeView IT is seeking a Sr. Application Analyst for our valued client in Denver, CO. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years exp in Healthcare IS or related field.
 
Summary:
Our client is seeking a SME/application owner on a clinical application (outpatient services) within a hospital environment. The system documents and tracks outpatient care for medical professionals in major hospitals.  Any experience working directly with outpatient or clinical applications would be highly beneficial. 

Required Skills:
•         4 years experience working as a Application Analyst
•         2+ years of work in the health care industry
•         Experience with scheduling applications
•         Advanced analytical, technical, and conceptual skills to develop systems solutions for information processing requirements
•         Skilled at administering security & user access for enterprise system/application
•         Solid understanding of relational databases, including data analysis and reporting
•         Knowledge of desktop client/server relationship; basic understanding of server administration, and networking
 
 
Role Overview:

Under general direction, the Senior Applications Analyst is responsible for implementing and maintaining the Outpatient application. Also, they will make process change recommendations to users and make approved modifications to systems. Additionally, they will serve as a liaison between the technical team and hospital staff. Analyzes information system user processes in relation to an application in use or to be implemented and determines need for process changes and system modifications.. The person in this role in will lead resolving or assisting other analysts in resolving complex system issues. Proven ability to understand software and hardware requirements of varied departmental systems, particularly specialty, outpatient/ambulatory, outpatient/ambulatory systems.  Thorough understanding of the workflow, process requirements and development lifecycle of clinical software applications. . Ability to communicate with technical, non-technical employees and management across the enterprise.  Ability to develop and perform program and system testing. 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems,  Business or Healthcare Related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience: Three (3) to five (5) years in Healthcare Information Systems or a related field.  Applicable programming or application support experience preferred.
