Overall responsibility:
Develop and support an order entry, order routing and order book management system for futures and options.
Key areas of responsibility:
Develop the Exchange APIs for order routing
Develop market data subsystem
Develop high performance server and database applications
Develop the web and VB front end of an order entry system
Support various system functions such as reporting, data import/export/conversion and billing
Qualification:
Candidate must have strong analytical skills to provide timely solutions to meet business requirement and the technical skills to implement change. Need to have the desire and ability to learn new technologies and deliver results. Efficient at communicating with business groups, clients and infrastructure team to get project done.
Candidate also need:
Have a deep understanding of TCP/IP, UNIX, database
Proficient with C/C++, VB, Java, JavaScripts and SQL
Understanding of futures and options market
Trading system development experience a plus
Exchange API development experience highly warranted
