BridgeView IT is seeking a Senior Software Developer for our valued client in Colorado. The ideal candidate will have 3-5yrs+ of exp. Modern C++ using Boost, Qt, Ruby. Knowledge & exp of SWIG, Google Testing Framework, Doxygen, sqlite or MySQL linking with C++
Job Description: Lead the development and design of specific portions of software tools used to evaluate energy use in the built environment. Subcontractor will be working with other software developers responding to an agile development process with 2 week sprints.
Requirements (Current 3-5 years):
· Current working experience with modern C++ using Boost, Qt, and Ruby;
· Current working knowledge, understanding and experience of SWIG, Google Testing Framework, and Doxygen;
· Current working experience using sqlite or MySQL and linking with C++ ;
· Must be able to work in an agile process with quick turnaround and deliverables.
Preferred Requirements:
· Cross-platform development experience;
· Working experience with SketchUp and the OpenStudio plugin. Experience with building codes such as ASHRAE 90.1 and energy analysis software such as EnergyPlus;
· Working experience using web services to push/pull information with C++ objects;
· Understanding of Delphi/Pascal and FORTRAN.
Certifications/Education: Completed BS in engineering or computer science or close related field.
