Seeking a Cisco Network Engineer, New York, NY. Contract
BridgeView IT is seeking a Cisco Network Engineer. This Role is located in New York, NY. It is a Contract opportunity.
Primary skill needed:
2+ years experience Core routing and switching in enterprise network operations/ data communications environment in the banking and financial sectors
Candidate must have deep understanding and experience with BGP, EIGRP routing protocols and MPLS.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the configuration and implementation of the enterprise Cisco infrastructure. Candidate will be responsible for Network maintenabce (LAN/WAN), hardware and software maintenance and ongoing network configuration management.
Conduct network troubleshooting and handling of incident and problem management as well as implement network changes as required.
Additionally responsible for maintaining procedures and guidelines for implementation and management of network as they relate to defined support plans. Update network diagrams as needed.
