We currently have an opening for a … Senior (C/C++/C#/UNIX) Fixed Income Developer
Premier Global Financial Service firm is seeking an experienced Developer to work with C/C++/C#/UNIX to monitor system performance, maintain/enhance applications and scripts, setup/create reports primarily for middle- and back-office. Must have experience with high-frequency, low-latency, multi-threading, FIX Protocol, databases with HTLI interfaces;
Candidates must have 7+ years of development experience with strong skills in C/C++/UNIX in financial services preferably within Fixed Income. The ideal candidate will be an effective communicator with the ability to multi-task with a familiarity with trade processing flows and experience with IPC message queuing;
KEY ROLES & FUNCTIONS
* Implement solutions based on project specifications and business requirements;
* Manage and Support the primary trading fixed income platform of the firm;
* Extending the capabilities of the product to potentially service other areas of the firm (risk, equities, etc.)
REQUIREMENTS
* College degree;
* Previous experience within Financial Services specifically within Fixed Income;
* Strong C, C++, C# trading-system development;
* Experience with FIX Protocol and HTLI interfaces;
* Knowledge of IPC message queuing and shared memory;
* Knowledge of Socket Programming, High-Frequency, Low-Latency, Multi-threading systems;
* Java/J2EE would be a plus.
* A high proficiency in relational databases.
