BridgeView IT is seeking a Scheduler Analyst. The role is located in Bethlehem, PA. It is a full time opportunity.
Skills and Requirements
Knowledge:
Working knowledge Job Control Language
In-depth knowledge of CA7, CA11 and Control-M
Working knowledge in the use of TSO/ISPF
Must be able to work effectively within a team environment.
Good oral and written communications skills.
Good analytical skills in order to resolve problems
Must be able to provide excellent customer service on a consistent basis.
Experience:
3-5 years experience Automated Job Scheduler (CA-7)
3-5 years experience Automated Restart Facility (CA-11)
2-3 years experience Time Sharing Option (TSO).
Ability to function under pressure and be able to communicate effectively.
Excellent knowledge of Job Control Language (JCL)
2-3 years MVS Mainframe experience (JES2 Operating system)
***Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
Education:
BS or BA degree in computer science, business administration, or related field is preferred.
Job Description
Responsible for the implementation of workload schedules for our Clients batch processing environments.
Scheduler Analysts must possess a solid understanding of all scheduling operations and related functions. Scheduler Analysts must have the ability to troubleshoot minor to moderately complex scheduling issues independently.
Review requests for changes to established schedules for adherence to standards, policies and impact.
Review ad-hoc processing requests for adherence to standards, policies and impact on established schedules.
Perform other scheduling duties as required.
