Seeking Business Analyst/Project Manager. Denver Tech Center. 6 month contract.
BridgeView IT is seeking a Business Analyst/Project Manager for our valued client in the DTC. The Business Analyst/Project Manager is responsible for providing overall direction, coordination, execution and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with corporate strategy and goals. This role will work with end users directly and provide support to various operations and business units through defining business needs and requirements, and partnering with the IT development group to deliver solutions.
Requirements
Degree in a technical or business discipline with 3+ years direct work experience analyzing and solving business problems through the development and implementation of business/online technology applications.
Effectively elicit and document project requirements. Participate in translating requirements to technical specifications.
Create and maintain business process flows, user flows, and ensure adequate representation of business procedures.
Ability to remain organized at all times and to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources including team members, other internal departments and external parties (such as 3rd party partners)
Ability to lead, motivate and direct a cross-functional workgroup while being flexible in a changing environment
Familiarity with all phases of the project life cycle related to Software Development, including project planning and requirements meetings, analysis and design sessions, test and implementation, product deployment, and post launch reviews.
Knowledge of different project management software, and be technically competent with various software programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Visio
Self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision, and have excellent verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of PMI standards and/or PMP methodologies preferred
