BridgeView IT currently has an opening in Denver for an Oracle PL/SQL Developer. This is a permanent position with a salary range of $80-95/K and offers comprehensive benefits.
POSITION SUMMARY
The PL/SQL Developer designs, develops, and tests complex Oracle PL/SQL Packages, procedures, functions, and triggers, implementing database applications and interfaces. Involves new development, as well as supporting existing code, fixing bugs and implementing enhancements on systems in production.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
· Designs and develop complex Oracle PL/SQL logic and code with assistance of business expert to implement defined functionality.
· Authors both functional and software design documents.
· Develops test plans and perform unit tests on developed code.
· Follows coding standards (and/or style of existing code where appropriate).
· Interact with Customer when necessary to solicit requirements.
· Personality, enthusiasm and ability to learn and work independently.
SKILLS REQUIRED
· Requires Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent degree or equivalent work experience.
· Three or more years experience in Oracle PL/SQL development.
· Knowledge of Oracle SQL, including tuning skills.
· OLTP experience and database application development a strong plus.
· Good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
· Good PC skills required, including use of standard MS Office applications.
· Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
· Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
