Seeking a Database Developer/Designer (Oracle/Exadata) in Denver, CO. Fulltime position.
BridgeView IT is seeking an experienced Database Developer and Designer with in-depth knowledge of Oracle database technologies for our valued client in Denver, CO.
This is a fulltime/salaried opportunity and a great chance to join a growing company doing new development for leading dashboards, reporting and high volume transaction processing using latest Oracle database technologies.
In this role, you will be working closely with a lead Data Architect in a collaborative relationship to design and develop a new dashboard and data warehouse handling high volume OLTP feeds.
Ideal candidates will bring:
Senior level knowledge of Oracle RDBMS (versions 9i & 10g, 11g+)
Strong foundation in database development (PL/SQL) and design
Strong design and modeling experience (star schema, views, DW design, etc.)
Experience in dealing with large volume of data is essential.
Experience with performance tuning of complex SQL statements / packages
Strong programming and debugging skills in PL/SQL, SQL
Experience in a UNIX environment; preferred SUN Solaris
Team player with strong drive, motivation, analytical skills to identify and resolve problems
Pluses: Exadata, Solr, Hadoop
Education:
BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering or related fields
