BridgeView IT is seeking a Manager System Design and Development. The role is located in New York, NY. It is a full time opportunity.
Skills and Requirements
Experience managing PMs working on enterprise data warehouse / business intelligence projects strongly preferred.
Master Data Management project experience a big plus as well as experience on projects utilizing Master Data Management software.
Experience on projects utilizing the IBM InfoSphere tool suite a big plus.
Minimum 5 years of experience managing IT PMs required with at least 2 years project management experience strongly preferred.
Proven project management and planning skills.
Strong Communication skills, both written and oral.
Possess strong facilitation skills including experience working with project business owners.
Possess strong experience in problem solving and process improvement methods.
Job Description
Lead and oversee project managers that are leading our Clients Data Management (CDM) delivery projects covering data warehousing, business intelligence and master data management, with particular emphasis on meeting project timelines and budgets.
Possibly actively manage the design and development of one or more CDM projects as the PM and successfully lead them to implementation.
Work effectively with business groups that are consumers of the emerging Insurance Data Warehouse.
Work effectively with supporting groups such as Data Architecture, Middleware and technical peers.
Review business requirements for completeness and accuracy.
Facilitate creation of technical and functional requirements developed from consumers' business requirements.
Ensure the Solution Architecture guidelines have been followed in the design.
Participate in employee evaluations by monitoring subordinates performance and providing management with feedback for employee evaluations.
Manage development project budgets.
