Specifically: mainframe CICS systems curriculum; MVS-zOS fundamentals; Storage systems; software installation methodology and processes; multiple computer language competency; system diagnostics.
Experience:
Ten years of senior level systems programming (engineering) experience which should include: software installation and support experience; problem analysis experience; language development experience (COBOL); experience or familiarity with most, if not all, areas listed under knowledge section.

Job Description
Overview:
The purpose of this position is to provide senior level technical support services for the CICS Transaction Processing subsystem and all associated components (CICS) 50%, the Mainframe Operating System Environment (OS) 25% and the Mainframe Storage environment (Storage) 25%. The mainframe environment provides the infrastructure on which many of our business applications run and/or from which services are requested.
Responsibilities:
Must maintain a working understanding of the numerous applications and interactions that exist under the mainframe batch, TSO and CICS environments.
Install and maintain mainframe infrastructure technology
Provide technical services
Ensure assigned problems are addressed and resolved in a timely manner, according to business needs and in adherence to department and governance policies
Contribute to our expense optimization and process improvement efforts
Review and evaluate technology advances. Make recommendations to management to initiate projects based on these evaluations
