JOB DESCRIPTION:
· Interfaces with internal customers to elaborate on requirements and provide recommendations on complex technical tasks.
· Independently performs analysis to develop and implement high level designs for assigned projects.
· Participates in design, code and test reviews
· Analyzes and troubleshoots software problems
· Works closely with Business Analysis and Project Management functions to ensure correct technical design
· Modifies and/or writes technical and operator documentation
Skills and Requirements
Must Have:
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Minimum 3 years experience creating web applications using Java/J2EE, JSP, Servlets, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
· Working knowledge of Object-Oriented Design.
· Some knowledge of many of the following: Ajax (preferably using jQuery and JSON), SQL, XML, MVC frameworks (preferably Spring), dependency injection, Hibernate, jUnit, and IBM RAD/Eclipse.
· Competent working with both Linux and Windows environments.
· Experience using and creating RESTful and SOAP-based web services.
