Information Security Consultant, CA
Seeking Information Security Consultant Bay Area, CA. Contract position. Knowledge of ISO27001 framework.
BridgeView IT is seeking an Information Security Consultant for our valued client in California. In this role, you will be responsible for performing risk assessments, both for internal projects and third parties, and recommending security controls to mitigate risk.
Requirements:

7 - 10 years of IT work experience, with at least 5 years in an IT security role

BS in Computer Science or similar

CISSP, CISM, other security certification preferred

Practical knowledge of ISO27001 framework, including policy, access controls, network security, platform security, app security, compliance, incident response, etc.

Experience in implementing controls to meet regulations , e.g., Safe Harbor, SOX

Hands-on analyzing and providing guidance for controls implementation, e.g., IDS/IPS, NAC, Mobile Security
