Seeking a Help Desk Support / Customer Support Analyst, August, GA. Contract
BridgeView IT is seeking a Help Desk Support / Customer Support Analyst. This Role is located in Augusta, GA. It is a Contract opportunity.
Responsibilities:
Helpdesk experience: Familiar with Windows 2000 Pro, XP Pro, Server 2000, Server 2003, TCP I/P configuration, troubleshooting end user connection issues, router issues, Windows based network configuration protocols, mapping drives, installing software, understanding of modem strings/synchronization, familiarity with Remote software, understanding of Windows Explorer (how to copy and paste files), Use of Microsoft Back office tools such as Outlook, Word and Excel. MCP or MCDST preferable.
Required Skills:
2 - 5 years help desk experience.
Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft O/S and internet browsers. A+ certification is a plus
Excellent customer service and oral/written communication is a must.
1. Candidates must be proficient in call handling and provide professional end user support via telephone
2. Must work effectively in a team environment.
3. Experience in a call center required
4. Ability to research and solve end user questioning
5. Ability to work under pressure a must, PC knowledge a must.
6. Ability to consistently deliver quality service under the pressures of volume variances in inbound calls, length of calls, escalations
7. Ability to be multi-tasked, work in a fast paced team and meet deadlines.
Overview of responsibilities:
Provide end user customer support via telephone
Connect to client's environment using Remote software
Apply firmware upgrades to Clock Hardware over Ethernet or modem connection
Utilize Clarify to record case notes
Escalate conditions to 2nd tier technical staff as needed
