BridgeView IT is seeking a Data Warehouse Architect - VP, This Role is located in Jersey City, NJ.  It is a Perm Opportunity

Requirements

• Hand-on Data modeler/ data architect with 10+ years of industry experience designing dimensional data models and financial data warehouse products using industry standard tools such as Embarcadero (preferred) and Erwin. Data warehouse concepts and strong Dimensional Data modeling experience using Kimball and/or Inmon methodologies.
• Strong hands-on experience with ETL tools including Informatica PowerCenter and Business Intelligence tools is required. 
• Experience in modeling Commercial Lending products such as loans and guarantees, market products such as Derivatives and Fixed Income Securities is highly desirable.
• Experience in Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and its implementation. Successful track-record in driving architecture for large-scale system migration and automation. Ability to work effectively under aggressive deadlines and in challenging settings.
• Must demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills and be able to interface with all levels of business and IT organizations.
• Experience in with various SDLC methodologies
• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience and 10+ years of IT experience

Responsibilities:

 

• Architect data warehouse solutions for MCS projects. Evaluate ETL & BI tools strategy and usage for integration with Hudson projects and architecture.   
• Analyze Business Requirements, design logical data models and systems functions and present to business/stake holders           
• Coordination and interacting with technical and business groups within the department.
• Provide Technical Expertise and Mentoring of staff, direct and document application design strategies. Perform related duties and participate in special projects as required. 

 

Overall Purpose of Job:

 

Experienced Architect and Lead Designer to manage enterprise Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence applications for financial institutions. Accountable for the overall technical architecture blueprint and roadmap that supports a stable and robust solution capable of undergoing incremental changes via iterative development methodology. Must have experience with SAP Business Objects, Informatica Power Center and Oracle OBIEE and Hyperion Essbase tools.
