Seeking a candidate Customer Support Representative - (Helpdesk) , NYC, NY Perm opportunity.

BridgeView IT is seeking a Customer Support Representative (Helpdesk).   This Role is a Perm Opportunity

 

Customer Support Representative (New York)

 

We seek a Customer Services Representative to provide quality, daily customer relationship and servicing activities to our new and existing customers.  It is a visible position and requires strong technical and customer skills.  A high level of proactive problem solving, excellent communication skills and follow-through are necessary for success.   This position is based in our New York office.

 

Responsibilities:

         Interacting and managing customer relationships over the phone and through email; this includes troubleshooting, answering questions, and analysis of reported issues.  .

         Helping users complete transactions on the clients platform, while understanding their specific buyer seller relationship requirements

         Monitoring transactions and proactively reaching out to customers to assist with completion of their tasks

         Monitoring payments and financial account activity for customers.

         Communicating with various departments within the client and our partners to ensure an integrated approach to a client relationship

         Administering training to clients on various functions within the system

         Generating customer cases using industry standard problem management tools.

         Following up on outstanding cases to ensure timely resolutions to ensure an excellent customer service experience

 

 

Qualifications:

         At least 2-3 years Customer Service experience and/or Operations experience supporting a software application.

         Help Desk experience a plus

         Strong communication and customer relations skills a must

         Must be multilingual in English and Spanish (Italian, French or German skills a plus)

         A successful candidate will be detail oriented, analytical, and a strong problem solver

         Ability to multitask and work in a deadline/time sensitive environment

         Ability to work both independently and in a team environment

         Knowledge of supply chain, trade operations or trade sales a plus

         Familiarity with accounting and industry practices (LCs, banking, credit), import and export practices, and logistics a plus.

 

This position is based in New York City.
