Job Description:
Worker is needed to temporarily fill a position vacated by a full time employee. The temporary worker will be responsible for software development and maintenance of the PubSub Market Data System. Software engineer responsible for components of an application that streams market data trade and quote messages to downstream subscribers such as Dow Jones Indexes and Newswires. Developer needs to be familiar with writing high performance / high availability applications in C++ on Linux. Cross platform C++ programming is also a plus. Familiarity with .NET interop and managed C++ also a plus. Contractor must be able to write fast tight code with no errors; essentially this contractor will take market date messages from point A to point B as quickly and efficiently as possible.
