We currently have a full time opening for an… Application Developer

Our client has completed a proof of concept and determined that converting their existing C++ Web services on the Market Data Platform to a pure Java based solution yields significant performance gains. In addition to the performance gains, the maintenance is also simplified resulting in increased flexibility for adding new functionality (i.e. REST services). These web services provide Intraday quote requests, time series quote requests, and symbology. This project is to complete the remaining functionality of the web services to be purely JAVA based.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

 

Complete the remaining functionality of the web services to a pure Java solution. Work under the guidance of our client's senior technical staff member. Requires high performance Java expertise for real-time market data updates in a Web based front end, with expertise in object modeling paradigms. Must have strong Web Services experience in Java (SOAP/WSDL). Linux experience required including shell scripting (BASH).
