BridgeView IT is seeking an Application Analyst for our valued client in Denver, CO. 2+ years exp. SQL, Crystal Reports, Healthcare exp.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Under general supervision, the Applications Analyst is responsible for implementing and maintaining the application(s) to which they are assigned. Analyzes information system user processes in relation to an application in use or to be implemented and determines need for process changes and system modifications. Makes process change recommendations to users and makes approved modifications to systems.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or Healthcare Related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience: One (1) to Three (3) years experience in Healthcare Information Systems or a related field. Applicable programming or application support experience preferred.
Required License: None
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Ability to understand software and hardware requirements of varied departmental systems. Ability to understand the workflow and process requirements of the user departments. Understands business function related to the application. Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical employees across the enterprise. Ability to perform program and system testing.
Required:
Commitment of at least 3 years to the support of this application
SQL and Crystal Reports
Ability to connect to and build strong working relationships with the end-users and clinicians they support.
Excellent time management and organizational skills, and detail oriented
Excellent communication skills with all levels of the organization - both verbal and written
Shows good initiative with utilizing available and appropriate resources to dig into issues and solutions.
Strong interpersonal relationship skills - good people skills
Preferred:
Healthcare Information Technology experience
Programming or Application Analyst experience of at least 2 years
Experience with the Soarian Scheduling application, or other Scheduling applications like Scheduling.com or Orsos
